“Latest issue! Scandal at Greentec Awards!”

The DFR is a young invention, but it has already been through some things: Not only is it the first nuclear reactor to be patented since the 1960s — it even created a small media scandal in Berlin, when it was kicked out of the Greentec Awards competition in spite of having been favored by the public in order to be replaced by a “roof power plant” featuring tiny wind turbines in hollow roof tiles.

But the most important event still lies ahead of us: Construction of the first working DFR! Find out what the road ahead might look like under Timetable or read about our collaborations, study in-depth articles on the DFR, download graphics or explore press articles and weblinks.
